Cycling in The Peaks

Yorkshire shot to cycling fame in 2014 when the county played host to the first two stages of The Tour de France; the worlds most prestigious cycling race. It is an excellent area for cycling with some excellent, undulating network of minor roads, challenging climbs and stunning scenery.

Hop on the challenging 210km (130mile) Yorkshire Dales Cycle route to really test your endurance!

For mountain bikers there is over 1000km of green lanes, byways and tracks for mountain bikers too with some challenging climbs and technical descents.
