Ireland Challenge

This challenge is the Ireland equivalent to the UK's Land's End to John O'Groats.  You will ride from Mizen Head, the most southerly point to Malin Head, the most northerly point over 7 days.

We're proud to be partnering with Against Breast Cancer on this cycling challenge.  You can ride for them, for your own charity or just for your own challenge!

2019 dates TBC

  • Grade 7/10 moderately challenging
  • Approximately 500miles

FULLY SUPPORTED TOUR, You will be able to cycle at your own speed throughout the day. GPS maps will be provided and GPS systems can be hired from us if you do not have your own. There will be a cycling leader tracking the trip throughout the day and a support vehicle carrying your luggage and food for you during the day. The van will stop on the roadside for your lunch.

The ride starts at Mizen Head on the Sunday, but you should arrive into Cork on Saturday 14th July, where we will meet you. You will be driven down to the south west of Ireland, by minibus that afternoon, staying in the beautiful coastal town of Schull that night.

Early on the Sunday morning you are then taken on to Mizen Head to start your challenge.  Enjoy the rugged peninsulas of West Cork, County Kerry, Killarney National Park, the famous Burren National Park and through the Mamturk and Bluestack mountains.

The ride finishes at Malin Head on the following Saturday, where we will stay overnight before departing on Sunday 22nd from either Derry Airport (to Birmingham, Liverpool or Stansted) or Belfast Airport (other UK regional airports).
