About Challenge Tonic
This is our story. We want to help you make stories of your own.
Who are Challenge Tonic?
We love a challenge and firmly believe a good challenge is a good tonic for the soul.
Emma and Martin have completed numerous challenges for charity and are experienced cyclists who love an adventure challenge both in and out of the saddle. They have extensive experience in fundraising and leading tours throughout Europe, working with both individuals and charities.
Emma has raised in excess of over £50k in recent years for charities. After numerous smaller events her real inspiration came when she took on the Rock Ride in 2014. The Ride involved cycling 1,500 miles in 14 days from Gibraltar back to Buckinghamshire while climbing over 60,000ft, raising £15k for Against Breast Cancer.
Martyn has been running cycle tours for nearly five years both in the UK and overseas. In this time he has built up a fantastic reputation with a large percentage or returning cyclists. Emma joined in 2017 with a view to setting up women's cycling tours and challenges for charity 'Challenge Tonic' was born.
We love inspiring people to take on a challenge, getting them to push their personal boundaries and enabling them to make the most of what they can achieve. Having a focus on a goal is a great way to inspire yourself to go further, taking on a challenge really is just the tonic.
